Superadobe Dome Workshop

Mantapala Refuge settlement - Zambia 2022

This 3 week Superadobe Dome Workshop was held on Mantapala Refugee Settlement, a remote community located on the border of Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The workshop included 20 men & women who were refugees DRC and a few local Zambians from a neighboring community.

This community collaboration project was achieved in partnership with Caritas Zambia. Caritas Zambia is an organization dedicated to the promotion of integral human development and whose values honor their respect for human dignity, justice and solidarity with the poor, and hard work and commitment to the cause of duty. They are involved in a wide range of programs including peace building, livelihoods and climate change adaption, and social and economic accountability. Click here to learn more about their work.
